TERESA CRIBELLI: THE VEILED BODY

Teresa Cribelli is a collage artist and associate professor of history at the University of Alabama. She specializes in a visual style that explores history, gender, balance, and restoration. Teresa has exhibited her work in Tuscaloosa, New Orleans, and Minneapolis. Her collages are held in the Doug and Laurie Kanyer Art Collection and private collections. The opening reception will be held Thursday, April 21, 2022, from 5 to 7pm at PaperWorkers Local. Following the opening reception, the exhibition can be seen during our regular gallery hours on Saturdays from 11am to 4pm. The show closes Saturday, May 21, 2022.  

WORLD COLLAGE DAY WORKSHOP

On May 14, World Collage Day, 2022, Teresa will teach a collage class from 10am–4pm. Students will be guided through different analog collage techniques utilizing vintage paper, second-hand books, magazines, and ephemera. Glue, scissors, and collage materials will be supplied.
