JANE MARSHALL
JANE MARSHALL'S ART CAREER SPANS MANY YEARS, numerous geographical locations, and diverse media investigations that include printmaking, painting, sculpture, and ceramics. She has been actively engaged with current consumer culture and environmental issues that serve as inspiration and the subjects for her work. Educated at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she has taught at several universities and colleges, and has been awarded many artist residencies throughout her career. Marshall works from her home in Alabama, and Michigan, and remains productive in her home studio, clay studio, and at her printing press.
The opening reception will be held Thursday, January 9, 2025, from 5-7 pm at PaperWorkers Local, 2717 Seventh Avenue South, Suite 203, Birmingham, Alabama, 35233. Following the opening, the exhibition can be seen during our regular gallery hours on Saturdays from noon to 4 pm until it closes Saturday, February 8, 2025.
